♥ Spiced Almond Milk Recipe ♥ 10.9.12

As promised, I'm going to share recipes once in awhile and I thought of this one just in time! It's a yummy/vegan/Fall drink that literally takes only a few minutes. This is really the easiest comfort drink to make and perfect at any time of the day (especially morning- I had a cup when I woke up today and it was sooo good).

Serving size: 1
One cup of almond milk (I like regular instead of unsweetened) or any non-dairy milk if you have a nut allergy.
1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon of allspice
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla or honey
a pinch of nutmeg

Preparation
Heat the almond milk in a saucepan on low heat.
Whisk in the cinnamon, vanilla or honey, and allspice- stirring constantly. 
Pour and sprinkle with nutmeg.

Also this recipe sounds amazing and I would love to drink that right this second, but I should be in bed. I may have to pick up some almond milk so I can make this. I love trying new foods and whatnot but haven't tried almond milk yet for whatever reason. I'm sure I'd really like it though.

Yum! I love anything spiced and drink away too much dairy, so this recipe will be a nice addition to list of Fall drinks to make. Thanks for posting the info about milk alternatives, too. The banner looks great :)
